I am honored to serve as the Head of School at Fulford Academy, bringing a passion for education and leadership to this incredible community. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University, followed by a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University, and a Professional Master of Education from Queen’s University. These experiences have shaped my commitment to fostering academic excellence and lifelong learning.

As an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), I hold multiple qualifications, including a Guidance Specialist certification and Principal’s Qualifications. I am also a Certified Google Educator and Instructor, which allows me to incorporate innovative technology into the classroom to enhance learning and engagement.

Throughout my career, I have focused on creating inclusive, supportive, and enriching environments where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Collaboration, continuous improvement, and preparing students to succeed in a dynamic world are at the core of my leadership philosophy.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through sports and fitness. Whether I’m playing hockey, curling, golf, soccer, or ball hockey—or going for a run—I find joy in the camaraderie and discipline these activities offer. They also reflect my belief in teamwork and perseverance, values I strive to bring into every aspect of my leadership.
