At Fulford Academy, we provide a personalized and seamless admissions process for both Canadian and international students. We understand that the journey to joining our school is an important one, and our team is here to guide you every step of the way.
ESL Application Assistance
Fulford Academy partners with experienced educational agents and educational consultants worldwide to support families in their native language. These trusted professionals are highly knowledgeable about our programs and application process, offering personalized guidance tailored to each family’s needs. We are always happy to help connect you with a regional representative.
Our programs prepare students for university and beyond, with a focus on project-based curriculum, to earn the world-renowned Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
Review Application Instructions First
Before applying, please ensure you have all the required information for the application process. Once you have started an application, you can save and return to it later, but you must complete it within twenty-one (21) days. Be sure to confirm your application has been submitted, as incomplete applications will not be processed.
Gather Important Documents
Collect the following to provide along with your application:
Most recent report card or transcripts.
Standardized test scores (if applicable), such as IELTS, TOEFL, or other relevant assessments.
For students who have never completed an English assessment, we will provide them with an online invitation to complete the Duolingo English test (DET). The DET is an online assessment that students can complete from their own home, and Fulford Academy receives their assessment results within 2 days.
Educational Assessments (if applicable).
Passport copy (for international students).
A recent photo of the student.
Start the Online Application Process
Complete the application form by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button below. The application will ask for academic records, a copy of the applicant’s passport, a recent photo (head), and immunization record.
Steps After Application Form Submission
Once the Application Form and $350 non-refundable application fee are received, we will guide you through the following five-step application process.
Student Interview
Applicants are contacted to book and attend an informal interview that is 15–20 minutes in length. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about you and for you to learn more about Fulford Academy. Interviews can be conducted in person, via Zoom, WhatsApp, WeChat, FaceTime, or by another medium that may be convenient.
English Language Assessment
Applicants take a 30-minute timed English language test. The instructions will be provided once the interview has been completed.
Personal Profile Statement
Applicants must submit a 300-word personal profile in their own handwriting outlining their academic goals and interests, extracurricular activities, community involvement and areas of distinction. (Template Provided)
Statement due within 2 weeks of receiving the Personal Profile request.
Initial Enrolment Documents & Payment Due
Initial enrolment documents and the invoice are emailed to the applicant’s family.
All documents and payments are due within 2 weeks of receiving this email.
Final Enrolment Documents
Final enrolment documents are emailed by Fulford Academy to the applicant. The applicant is now officially registered at Fulford Academy.
