Fulford Academy offers a transitional program for English Second Language (ESL) students which linguistically, academically and culturally prepares them for entrance into prestigious Canadian and USA boarding schools. Fulford Academy goes beyond the functional English syllabus to provide a content-rich, high-standards curriculum preparing ESL students to become academically successful in content learning.
Fulford Academy offers these VIP Programs to students in a 16th Century Surrey style facility with carefully chosen faculty and staff to ensure that students receive the personal attention for them to gain the confidence to be successful. Our school is small by design with a limited enrollment of less than 50 students, offering class sizes of between 5 to 7 students per class.
Through our partnership with Canadian and USA boarding schools, Fulford offers an educational pathway for students to be placed at prestigious schools such as: Albert College, Appleby College, Ashbury College, Bishop’s College School, Cheshire Academy, Darlington School, Lakefield College School, Perkiomen School, Ridley College, St. Andrew’s College, Stanstead College, Tallulah Falls School, Trinity College School, and many others.

Program Description
The Fulford Academy Middle School program is specifically designed to teach academic grades 7 and 8 to both Canadian and International students, in a small, nurturing, unique and culturally diverse environment. With small class sizes, Fulford Academy goes beyond the Ministry of Education curriculum allowing students to gain the academic and linguistic skills preparing them for success in a Canadian high school.
International Students will learn English through Math, Science, Social Studies and English from an English second language perspective.
Canadian Students will be taught from an English first Language perspective encompassing the six areas of language arts; reading, writing, listening, speaking, viewing and representing.
All joining together for Art, Music and Physical Education, students will bond together for a truly unique global experience that will foster inter-cultural skills and friendships that will last a lifetime.
