As well, there are multiple items available for purchase from our store, including sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, sweaters, and seasonal athletic wear. We ask the students to be dressed in "Fulford" clothes for classes, which means that the school ensignia must be visible on the top layer of their clothing, be it a jacket or shirt. Their pants must be navy or khaki - no jeans are permitted in the classrooms! Shoes and socks must be worn, and no slippers are allowed in class or in the dining hall.

| Question #4 | Are there rules on only speaking English?
|
| Answer: | At Fulford Academy, we are very serious about our English Only Rule.
Our mandate is to teach students English through Canadian curriculum and culture. We teach our students to be able to handle themselves in a variety of social and academic situations. Speaking English only facilitates the student's progress in learning the language to the best of their ability and enables the students to converse with all students and staff members.
In order to monitor the students more effectively, we have employed a language card system which rewards positive behavior towards speaking English and enforces negative repercussions for students who choose not to speak English.
It is essential that the students recognize the importance of abiding by this rule. Any deviation from this rule may ultimately result in the student leaving the program.
