Each excursion is integrated into the Academic Program, which allows students to know what they will encounter and what they should bring take out and learn from their new experiences. Students discuss each activity in their classes upon their return.

Throughout the program, students will visit several of the region's museums and parks, as well as attend annual cultural events such as Multinational Festival and Doors Open. There will be occasional visits to larger cities such as Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa. The goal is to offer students a glimpse into the uniqueness of Canada's history and culture and provide enjoyable experiences that will reinforce and maintain a student's willingness to remain positive about living and learning in Canada.
